Rocha has gone home with her husbun Willie

You can see pictures of the happy couple here.

Rocha is a beautiful young reddish mini-lop, who came from the Cheyenne rescue. She has tears in her ears were she was attacked by other bunnies while she was kept in a large group. Surprisingly, she is quite friendly and comes up to the front of the pen for treats.

Jackie and Henry

Jackie and Henry

Jackie is much happier now with the bunn of her dreams, Henry. He has given her that sense of security that she needed. Henry's calm and gentle nature has had a calming effect on her and she is no longer high-strung or as easily spooked. Picked up, both are very relaxed and comfortable. I'm sure they would love to make themselves comfortable in your home!

Maggie May

Fortunately for her, Miss Maggie was picked up as a stray in Greeley. Her mate wasn't so lucky and met with foul play. Maggie was a real trouper and remained a sweet loving girl. Soon after her spay, which revealed that she had been the parent of numerous litters, a handsome bunny, Pinkerton (formerly Aristotle), who was lonely due to the recent loss of his mate, Butterfly (formerly Jennifer), came into her life. He too had been a stray in Greeley several years ago. Read his story below. The two had a deep affection for each other which quickly grew into a great love.

Aristotle, an 8-1/2 lb pound male, was born in 2005. A while back, he was picked up by Animal Control and put on death row at the Humane Society because "he just looked so sick." All his problems were minor and have been easily treated. Such a friendly bunny - who loves to have his head rubbed - has cheated death.

Savannah

Savannah

She is a beautiful fawn color mini-rex, whose fur is softer than any thing you can imagine. And you just couldn't ask for a sweeter bunny. At feeding time she waits patiently with her front feet in her food bowl, looking up at me, just waiting for me to put the food in her bowl. Why on earth she was a stray we will never know. But let her show you how hoppy she is to be found by you!

DOB:   12/2008      Weight:   4  lbs

Peter Bun

Peter Bun is a friendly half-a-lop bunn. Currently he is undergoing treatment for an ear infection in his down ear. Both ears have small tears in them as well. He came from the Cheyenne rescue.

Jinx & Riccochet

Jinx & Riccochet

Jinx and Riccochet are now in their new forever home in Greeley with Christina and Jeremiah Bennet. These mini-lops have been together all their lives. Jinx, the handsome grey bunny, and Riccochet, the beautiful tan bunny, are brother and sister. Jinx is a little shy but Riccochet loves attention and runs up to be petted. They are soooo wanting to finally be in a permanent home with you. They so love each other and would be delighted to love you too.

DOB: 2003

Weight: 6 pounds

April and Glacier (aka Scrappy)

This is a very happy pair of tiny bunns who are most often seen sitting on their shelf all snuggled up together. Scrappy, the white bunn with grey ears and nose, is a real snuggle bunn and loves to be carried around and loved on. April, white with black spots, while shy, she is a sweet bunny. Because these cute little dwarfs can be a little nervous they need a home that is quiet and not stressful.

Miss Coffee & Boris

Miss Coffee & Boris

Miss Coffee has met the love of her life, Boris. Boris was relinquished after 5 years due to sever allergies. The good news is he and Miss Coffee have found their forever home with the Berlins in Ft. Collins.

Miss Coffee, a gorgeous mini-rex, was discovered in an apartment where pet aren't allowed. Now she is with us where she can never be evicted. Her personality is just wonderful. While she begs to be petted and will run around your feet, she doesn't sit still for long. And you will love petting her enticingly plush fur. She is very active, curious and loves to interact with family.

Recently she has learned to run around a large ball and run though a tunnel on command. She learn those commands with Clicker Training! With each command she learns, she learns the next command quicker. Check back to see what she learns next! DOB: 2008

Weight: 4 lbs

Tumbleweed

This sweet little guy was found "tumbling" around someone's yard. Can you imagine what could have happened to him there? Poor little thing! I don't even want to think about all the predators that could have gotten him. Fortunately, for him and who ever adopts him, he is now in a safe place. With those cute little ears, he won't be hanging around the shelter too long.

DOB: May 2009

Weight: 4-5 pounds? when grown

Ellie - Special needs bunny

Ellie - Special needs bunny

Ellie is now living with the Hubbards and her new husbund Eban.

Ellie came from Weld County Humane Society. When she came into the Humane Society Ellie had head-tilt and was circling continuously. They remembered from the education we had done that this was an emergency. They called us and a volunteer went and picked Ellie up. We felt the intensive care that Ellie needed would be best met in our more experienced hands.

Ellie, a four pound young lop with a beautiful and unusual tan/grey color, has a great loving personality and she will make someone a wonderful bunny companion. Her head will always be tilted to the side but it gives her a cute look.

DOB: late 2007

Weight: 4 pounds

Miss Gracie

Miss Gracie has gone to live with the Barnes where she will be doted on daily by her new mom and dad and have three new play mates.

Miss Gracie was quite lucky that a concerned couple, who had been feeding this friendly but elusive stray, saw what looked to be puncture wounds on her. Desperate to find help for her, they called the Humane Society, Animal Control and West Ridge Animal Hospital who finally put them in contact with us.

The couple were key in capturing this elusive bunny. You see, Gracie had formed a trusting bond with this kind man who would feed her treats. In an area that bunnies were not thought of as pets she was at very high risk, and not just from the usual predators. Her mate had met his fate in the street in a run-in with a car and she was left alone. Reportedly, she had babies in the recent past which quickly disappeared.

Gracie was very lucky to have someone keeping an eye on her. When she came to us she had several cuterebra and was underweight with patches of hair missing and thinning. She would not have lasted much longer in that environment. Gracie is soooo sweet and easy to handle that we can't imagine how she and her friend came to be strays.

DOB: 2006

Weight: about 5 1/2 pounds

Whitey & Petey

Whitey & Petey

Whitey and Petey are now living with Andrea Sutton's family in Firestone. Entertaining the children every day is what they do for fun now.

For three years Whitey & Petey were living happily in their forever home when their bunny slave became ill with cancer. Now they have lost the wonderful home they had and are feeling a little lost and confused about what happened to their home.

Surprisingly, Petey is a female, while Whitey is a male. Both need to loose some weight and are on a weight loss program. So far, both are slowly loosing their excess weight.

They are both very friendly and love to be petted. Petey is very much in love with Whitey and dotes on him. Don't you want to dote on these two, also? They would just love you for it and just maybe give you a few kisses.

DOB: 7/12/2005

Weight : 5.5 lbs & 6.5 lbs
