If you would like to adopt, be sure to read the adoption requirements and application section. We also have a fostering program in place for those interested in fostering bunnies on either a temporary or permanent basis.

Monty has sadly been with us for a year plus, overlooked because he is mostly white with pink eyes. He is a wonderful bunny that doesn't deserved to be passed by. Visit the Ruby Rabbit page to find out just how great these pink-eyed bunns are as house rabbits.
He is a sweet sweet boy who is laid back and friendly and just loves to be petted. During play time running, jumping and eating hay are some of his favorite activities and he caught on to his litter box training very quickly. My Ruby Rabbit link is broken but will be fixed soon.

Belle, also, has sadly been with us for a year plus, overlooked because she is mostly white with pink eyes. She too is a fantastic bunny that doesn't deserved to be passed by. Please, visit the Ruby Rabbit page to find out just how wonderful these bunns are to people who have had one.
Belle has overcome her shyness. She is now a confident young lady in waiting. Waiting for the perfect young gentlebunn to come along. She is now very people friendly and welcomes attention from people. Head pets are her favorite and of course treats.

This sweet boy, too, has been over looked for over a year because he is mostly white with pink eyes. Marco is very curious and loves to explore quite like his namesake. While he does like to be petted and is affectionate, he has a hard time sitting still which makes him very entertaining. Are you in need of a bunny comedian who can keep you entertained for hours? Recently while in foster care Marco entertained his foster family by grabbing the end of toilet paper roll and running out into the family room trailing toilet paper behind him. Also, he enjoyed the company of their cats. Lately, he has also started tunneling under his towel which is very amusing when he tries to walk around with it covering him.

Sugar Bear, who came to us as Sugar, is a wonderful big boy, who after 2 years in a home as a house-rabbit was returned because his family was moving.
Don't people realize rabbits can move with their families, even long distances!
Sugar Bear hopes to make the best of the situation and use this opportunity to find a better home with people who will love and care for him forever. In his former home, Sugar happily lived with several children and a cat. While a little shy he is very loving, especially when you pet him.
Watching Sugar bloom has been great! We affection ally call him "Sugar Bear". And that he is just a big o'l snuggly bear. He has overcome most of his shyness and now happily runs to the front of his pen to be petted. He loves running and doing binkies and really loves his pellets. Often times it is difficult to feed him as he sticks his head into his food bowl leaving no room to put his pellets in it. I don't know how a family could give up this wonderfully funny guy.

Ruth was a victim of non-savvy rabbit owners. Originally named Rudolph when surrendered at a shelter, her name was changed to Ruth when we discovered he was a she. We assume that she had never been to a vet and no attempt to neuter or spay her was made since they didn't know what sex she was. So poor Ruth had an identity crisis. Then she was given up because her owner was getting married and moving.
We also know she was kept on Cedar and Pine shavings...lots of them. Her owner obviously did not know the dangers of cedar and pine shavings, as discussed in the paragraph about "Litter" half-way down the article Basics of Litter Training. Fortunately, she seems to be in good health but a bit unsettled about the transition.
It must be very confusing to be suddenly uprooted from your cozy little home to find yourself among strangers whom you don't feel safe with yet. After giving her some time and space to let her settle in and become more comfortable with her new surroundings, she has blossomed into a confident, friendly and playful bunny. Her new nickname is Baby Ruth.

Glacier has a harem! Glacier is such a manly bunn that one wife just wasn't enough for him and Evie and April agree. This is a very happy trio of tiny bunns. They all are between 2 and 3 pounds so all together they would be equal to one 7-8 pound rabbit! Glacier is the mostly white bunn and only 2 pounds, Evie is the darkest and largest, 3 pounds, one of the group and April is white with black spots and about 2 pounds. Glacier and Evie were born 1/19/2007 and April we think is about the same age.
Recently, Treasure, aka Daisy, was cast in a commercial on Animal Planet for their Hero of the Year contest. So she has become a little Diva. And just think how she started out.
Like a discarded item left at the curb with a free sign, one man's trash is another man's treasure. She was left in a park on a hot day with no food or water and only a note on her cage that said "free rabbit"! An observer watched and waited for someone to come as Treasure sat in her small cage, alone, confused, and becoming hotter and hotter. After a few hours when the observer could stand it no longer he called for help.
A caring person rushed to her aid and arrived just in time to save her from dying of heat stroke. One side of her face was terribly swollen. He rushed her to a veterinarian where she underwent care for a large abscess that was removed from the side of her face. Now she is all ready for adoption. With a real sweet personality she quickly runs to the front of her cage and begs for attention. She is one of those bunns who loves to be held, a real snuggler. She is a real treasure in every sense of the word.
Are you the special person who will treasure this sweet lady bunn for the rest of her life?
