help cleaning crates one weekend day a month
building "jungle gyms" for bunnies
clean up the outdoor runs once a month
work with a team to clean runs one weekend day a month
take rabbits to the outdoor runs and return them after 30 minutes
vacuum and dust the bunny barn once a month
mop the floors of the bunny barn on Monday mornings

Drop-in Activities that Always Need Doing

Working with our bunnies:
- transfer bunnies from indoor crates to outdoor runs for some exercise time and then bring them back to their crates
  - can be any daylight time, but cooler days or cooler times of the day are best
  - bunnies must stay dry
- help shy bunnies get comfortable with people: spend time petting, playing with, and holding them
- pass out toys to bunnies who don't have them
  - make sure there is one quiet, chewable toy in each cage such as a paper roll or pine cone
  - make sure there is one toy that makes noise in each cage
  - make sure there is one stuffed toy in each cage housing a single bunny
Assorted and VERY IMPORTANT support tasks:
- cut and bundle apple branches to sell in the shop
- dirty towels need to be shaken out, washed, dried, folded, and put away
- shelves ALWAYS need to be wiped down and straightened up
- cut in half the long paper tubes we use as bunny chew toys
- screen doors covered with bunny fur need to be vacuumed
- all sort of nooks and crannies need the vacuum
- wipe out the inside of the fridge
