May Bunnies of the Month Sugarfoot and Charmer Sugarfoot and Charmer

Sugarfoot was born to Abby here in February of 2006. From almost the very first day, this sweet little 4 pound bunny had her name - before we even knew if she was a boy bunny or a girl bunny, she was SUGARFOOT. Here she shows us why. She also has a sprinkle of sweetness at the tip of her nose. Yes, everyone loves Sugarfoot, but she is most especially loved by Charmer!

When he was still very little, he was "mistaken" for snake-food and put in a cage with a boa. A month later, the two of them were still in the cage together. Did this clever little boy-bunn, born in May of 2006, use bunny magic to "charm" the boa into leaving him alone? We'll never know, but we're happy he here and used his considerable charms on Sugarfoot.

Sugarfoot knows their chances of getting a home are slimmer than other pairs because of Charmer's pink eyes. But Sugarfoot doesn't care, she loves him anyway. She just hopes people will go read about how wonderful the Ruby Rabbits are, so they too can appreciate what a wonderful rabbit Charmer really is!

Waiting for their forever-family to come in and find them is hard, but Sugarfoot and Charmer know it will worth it in the long run. Looks like Sugarfoot was wondering if she just kisses a frog, maybe he'll grant their wish - no wait, that's the Leprechaun! It's SO hard for rabbits to keep all these human tricks straight. So Charmer has an idea - "Just look into my eyes..."

The Colorado House Rabbit Society is licensed by the national House Rabbit Society. We are a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt non-profit organization made up entirely of volunteers. There are no paid positions. Every penny of all donations goes to helping the rabbits. We have two purposes: rescue and education.

The Colorado House Rabbit Society offers affectionate, litter-trained, spayed or neutered rabbits for adoption. We also offer education about rabbits. To learn about rabbits, you may order our "Rabbit Packet" for $5. We also offer the "House Rabbit Handbook" for $11.00. To purchase either or both of these publications, send the appropriate amount, plus $2.00 for shipping and handling, to CO-HRS, P.O. Box 238, Broomfield, CO, 80038
