Linda

Poor little Linda was a stray who was apparently hit by a car. She was found in a gutter, with a broken pelvis and leg, and some road burn. She was also very skinny. Since she was only born in 2008, it's safe to say her short life has been a very hard life. Her pelvis has healed beautifully, but her right leg is, and probably always will be a little weak.

Since coming to us, she has been delighted to find good food and gentle hands. Linda is very gentle, likes people a lot, runs to the front of her crate for attention, proving what a loving bunny this little Ruby Rabbit is! She is very gentle, friendly, and craves attention.

Lucinda Lucinda

Lucinda was saved by one of our members who found her in a dumpster in a cage! Outrageous! It's hard to imagine how anyone could just put a living creature in the trash.

First Lucinda went to TMAC, and then she came to us. She is a bit shy, no wonder! But she is gentle and easily held, "I'm going to give people a second chance, just like some kind person found me and made sure I had a second chance. I'll be good to you, will you take me home and be good to me?"

Grady and Melina

The beautiful bunny was being ignored by everyone in the family. Instead of making time for him, the mom decided that if the kids had no interest, neither did she. So the kids learned that, instead of taking responsibility for their choices, they can simply dump them on someone else. Sad for everyone, but especially for a beautiful, deserving rabbit! From the moment he arrived, he has been a huge favorite with ALL our volunteers, hasn't he gang?

Minerva was born to Melinda, a lovely female stray taken to Adams County. Grady really likes Minerva, because she grooms him whenever he wants her to do so - which is quite often in fact. He is very calm and loves to be petted by humans, too. Still being so young, Melina is quite lively, but having been raised here and doted on by all our volunteers, she is very friendly. For people wanting bunnies who can't be topped for friendliness, this is your pair!

Hawkeye Hawkeye

Hawkeye came to us as a baby after a family lost their farm to a foreclosure. He was one of the 10 babies fathered by the handsome Redford, a beautiful, rust-colored male. We've loved him since the day we met him.

As with babies who have grown up with lots of volunteers and attention, Hawkeye enjoys people and is really eager to find his new home where he can have the love and attention with which such a delightful youngster will thrive. "And I heard they'll have a girl bunny for me, too!"

Oren

A woman had established a rescue organization called "Little Bit o’ Love" in Carpenter, WY. Sadly, she had little help, but couldn’t say "no" to animals who were to be killed in animal shelters.

Eventually, there were just too many animals without adequate care. So "Little Bit o’ Love" was shut down. Oren was one of the 19 rabbits who came to us from there.

Originally, Oren and Willard were together, but once they got here and got themselves settled in, they decided to become bachelors. Now this friendly boy, who enjoys being petted, is looking for his new home on his own. Lady bunns of the Denver metro area, be notified - this fellow is a heart-stealer, and he's waiting for you!

Peanut Peanut

Colorado Animal Rescue in Glenwood Springs took in Peanut, but because they never get requests to adopt rabbits, they asked us to take him. Peanut is very happy about this turn of events, because here he can see and be around other rabbits instead of the -uhmmmm- sort he met in his first shelter.

Peanut is a lively little bunny who needs to know you're safe for him. And once he gets that, he is as friendly as anybunny you've ever met.

Jasmine

Jasmine had the misfortune to be given as a gift to a woman who wasn’t allowed to have animals in her rented home. So this sweet bunny was left at the Summit County Animal Shelter, and from there, she came to us.

She is a friendly, quiet, and gentle little girl who deserves to find a home where she is wanted and secure. We'll certainly take good care of her until the right family with the right bunny who will be happy to take her home with them.

Finnegan Finnegan

Finnegan and another rabbit were found in a foreclosed home by a house inspector, who took them home and cared for them until we could take them.

"Boy, am I lucky," exclaims Finnegan! "Maybe that's why my Irish-sounding name - that and 'cause I'm a bit of a redhead, perhaps"? Well, who knows why - it just seemed the right name for this wonderfully friendly, lively youngster. He is sure to be a great addition to the family he chooses. Yes, that's right. Many of our bunnies seem to choose the family rather than the people choosing them. Come meet Finnegan. Maybe YOU'LL be the lucky winners.

Ricky

A foreclosure led to one family giving their rabbits to another family, who couldn’t keep them, because they were renting where pets weren’t allowed.

As a result, the rabbits came to us. This young man is Ricky, clearly an unusually marked rabbit! If he were writing his own resume, he'd be sure to put down that he really enjoys being held and especially loves to be petted!

Wendall Wendall

The Salt Lake County Shelter emailed us begging us to take some of their rabbits. When we learned that they were going to be killed if we didn’t take them, we took them all. Wendell, like all of these rabbits, was a stray.

Wendall is a nice boy who enjoys attention. When we wanted to take his photo, we put a slice of banana on top of the copper put. Wendall picked it off the pot, ate half of it as you see here, and then started moving around on the photo stage. After we'd taken him back to his crate, we came back to the staging area and found that he'd actually put the part he didn't want to eat back on top of the copper pot! "I'm all dressed up in my very best tuxedo, primed with my good manners, and ready to go home with a family who enjoys bunny love."

Henrietta

Henrietta is one of the 9 bunnies rescued from a group of 24 running free in a house. (We can't bring ourselves to call that "a home"!) When she was resuced, she was pregnant. However, there was only one fetus, which probably wouldn’t have been able to survive without siblings, and since Henrietta was in the very early stages of her pregnancy, we had her spayed.

She is the most interesting looking rabbit! She has the coloring of the Californian (white, with dark points, i.e. ears, nose, feet, and tail), but her ears hang down like a lop's. So far, this sweet girl has been easily handled, but seems shy about coming to meet people. She may be just a little confused about what is expected of her when meeting new people, but she shows she's really willing to learn.

Theodore Theodore

Theodore-able is how we first heard this little one's name. He was a stray found by a teen who gave him his whimsical appellation. Theodore is a delightful and friendly bunny, whom, we predict, won't be here long!
