Rabbits Needing Extra Care
If you would like to adopt, be sure to read the adoption requirements and application section here.

Some rabbits require a little extra care than others - combing long hair, giving eye drops, etc. Understand their needs and learn their personalities before rejecting them! Many rabbits who require extra care seem to appreciate the help they've been given and become even more sociable than they were before. A quick eye drop at the same time you fill the hay takes so little. And for people who have time, grooming a long-haired rabbit can be a wonderfully relaxing experience for both of you. It can become the same part of your routine as combing your own hair.

If you are interested in rabbits with extra-care needs, you may wish to ask if they are available as temporary fosters. This is a wonderful program for rabbits to spend in a home and gives people an opportunity to see if they are going to be able to handle the extra care required.

Adrianna and Jiggy

We paired our Adrianna with Jiggy some time ago, but when asthma became a serious problem for one of the family members, the pair was returned to us.

These two are both such adorable and loving rabbits, we don't expect to have them here very long. Adrianna does have lovely hair which will require weekly combing, but since she loves attention it will be a delightful way for you to spend time with her.
