Thank You to Everyone Who Helped with Medical Expense Donations

We would like to thank all of our members who opened their hearts and their wallets to assist us in providing extraordinary medical care for Toby and Phoebe.

Phoebe is doing great and is adapting to life with three legs instead of four. We think that the cancer originated in a lymph node that was removed at the same time the leg was, so hopefully, she's completely cancer free. An ultrasound was performed to search for additional cancer sites and none were found. We are hopeful for a positive outcome. Phoebe has a mate and a loving family in a forever home.

We lost Toby. A necropsy showed he had only 5% lung capacity--the rest had been destroyed by pneumonia. He died during a second surgery. We are consoled in knowing that, through your generosity, we did everything that we could for him. We hope that, in his short time with us, he knew that he was loved.
