Sell, Buy, or Volunteer at Our Annual Garage Sale

The Colorado HRS will be holding its Annual Garage Sale from 8:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. on July 24th (Rain Day: July 25th). The sale will be located at the Broomfield facility (12601 Lowell--which is North of 120th, between Federal and Sheridan).

There are three ways that you can help.

• Collect items for donation

  We will accept any good, resalable items except clothing. Kindly mark a price on everything before you deliver it to us. You may bring your donations to the Broomfield location or leave them at the supply pick up points. DO NOT, however, leave any donations without first contacting your supply pick up person.

• Volunteer to help before or during the sale

  A volunteer is need to manage the organization of the garage sale. The Colorado HRS co-managers would be incredibly grateful if someone would like to spearhead this effort. Primarily, the garage sale manager would find and assign helpers to tasks (i.e. sort/price items, make/post signs to advertise the sale, arrange for display tables, schedule cashiers). We have a list of people who are interested in helping so finding people to do these tasks should not be difficult.

  Volunteers are also needed to sort and mark prices on things that have already been donated. This can be done any time before July 24th.

• Come and shop at the garage sale

  You may find a special item that you’ve been needing, and your purchases help care for the foster bunnies.
