Volume 3, Issue 2 - May 2003 The Difference
One Animal Made One little creature made a big difference! Because of the petting zoo bunny, I researched rabbit care and determined that Blueberry would be a great addition to our family. When I had questions about litter training, I called Nancy LaRoche at the Colorado House Rabbit Society. Soon after, I started volunteering there. As many of you know, I am now quite active in Colorado HRS. I hope that in some small way I have made the world a better place for these endearing creatures and the people who love them. It all started with ‘the little brown rabbit’ at the petting zoo. Marie
Grosshuesch has published several
articles and is a member of not
only the Colorado House Rabbit
Society but also other rescue
organizations as well. The story
of Lobo, Blueberry and the Little
Brown Rabbit first appeared in
an on-line magazine called Living
With Animals. The story is reprinted
here with permission from Marie
Grosshuesch and Sarah Skeen.
Sarah Skeen created the artwork
from a photo by Kay Fritzsche. |
