Special Needs Rabbits

We are delighted to report that since their mom--who had a brain tumor--has improved dramatically, Daisy and Bubba were able to return to their home.

Cookie is in permanent foster with her sister and her sister’s hus-bunn.

Jupiter has found his true-love and is now awaiting adoption with her.

Saturn was also adopted and subsequently got married.

The success of Jupiter and Saturn in finding true love leads us to believe that we can pair Gemini and Finley as well. We are seeking patient “parents” who are
willing to give these deserving bunnies the kindness that they will need to blossom.

This leaves us only one special needs bunny: Mama Bunny. Mama Bunny is healthy and very active. She's classified as “special needs” only because she is 11 years old. She and Donnelly would like nothing more than to spend the rest of their years in a real home. Mama Bunny and Donnelly’s temporary foster mom reported that they are a charming and fascinating couple.

She says, “Mama Bunny has the spunk of a one year old rabbit constantly busy digging and exploring her environment. Though he's a bit shy, Donnelly is a dear bunny who likes to play “hard to get” but really does enjoy humans. This pair would be a wonderful addition to a household who is used to and can appreciate bunnies’ unique personalities.”
