August Bunnies of the Month Marvin and Sheila
Marvin and Sheila
"Marvin and Sheila - what fabulous pair," commented one of our co-managers recently! And indeed, these two are just that. They adore each other, so are content to sit quietly waiting for the right people to come along. But that very positive trait of their calm personalities may be working against them, since too many people have just walked right past them, without even asking to meet them! Those people really don't know what they are missing!

Sheila is an adorable, golden tan bunny, born in March of 2004. Rescued from being a stray, this 6-3/4 lb. bunny is highly active, and very sweet. Marvin, born in 2002, is smaller, weighing in at 5-3/4 lbs. He was found in a backyard. Happy to be saved from the scary outside world, these two now share the safety of the shelter, but they long to also have people of their very own.

This pair spent some happy, loving time in a wonderful home recently. This was a very good adoption cut short by quite severe illness of one of the human family members. There was no possibility of the rabbits being able to stay in their home, but the return of these wonderful rabbits just added to the family's heartbreak. They were very definate everyone be told that these are perfect house rabbits and deserved a loving home as soon as possible!

Both these rabbit are very friendly and will just bloom once they have a forever home, toys, room to play, and BEST OF ALL, the love of human companionship. Even if you're not overly impressed when you see this subtley quite beautiful pair, have the faith to meet with them and let them show you our hidden treasures.
